LitePoint Offers First Automated Manufacturing Test Software for Wavesat WiMAX Chipsets

LitePoint Corporation, an industry leading provider of advanced wireless test solutions, today announced the availability of the LitePoint IQfact™ manufacturing test software for WiMAX products based on Wavesat chipsets. This turnkey software package runs on IQmax™-500 R&D and IQmax-100 WiMAX manufacturing one-box test solutions. The fastest test times and lowest cost of test realized by LitePoint’s successful IQfact solutions are now also available for wireless product manufacturers using the Wavesat WiMAX chipset.

The IQfact for Wavesat software integrates seamlessly into the existing LitePoint IQmax API, allowing simple turnkey testing of Wavesat-based products - for both R&D and manufacturing applications. The first IQfact release for Wavesat is optimized for products based on the Wavesat Evolutive™ DM256 fixed WiMAX chipset and will be extended to support other Wavesat fixed and mobile chipsets. IQfact runs on LitePoint IQmax-500 R&D and IQmax-100 high-volume manufacturing WiMAX one-box test solutions. The ready-to-go software contains a flexible operator interface, a test suite of manufacturer recommended tests and test limits, and calibration and verification procedures needed for the manufacturing of WiMAX products. IQfact for Wavesat offers an out-of-the-box WiMAX solution which allows for quick bring-up and integration into a factory’s manufacturing environment.
