AirNet Communications Corporation, the technology leader in software-defined base station products for wireless communications announced today that it has become a principal member of the WiMAX Forum(TM). AirNet brings over 10 years of broadband, software-defined radio product expertise utilizing orthogonal frequency division multiplexing ("OFDM") technology implementing Fast Fourier Transforms ("FFT") to the WiMAX Forum.
